Caribbean-Cuba RCCL (Day 1) Miami, Embarkation

For our third sailaway out of Miami in as many weeks, we once again had some great weather. We had an easy, and very short walk from the ship we had just disembarked from, MSC Armonia - luckily they were docked right next to each other. We were now heading out on Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas - an older and smaller ship compared to many of her big sisters, but she had a charm all her own. The service and food were the best of the three cruises on this trip.

Another sunny, blue sky for our sail away.

As we pulled away from the pier, our former ship, MSC Armonia, was still dockside. We were the first of the 6 ships to sail away this day.

We had now passed the other ships, and were making our way through Government Cut, past the upscale high-rises on both sides.
